An international collaboration that bridges the sludge and powerviolence scenes. Japan's legendary BORIS have crafted their unique brand of heavy, amplified drone evil for over three decades and it’s safe to say that this new track “Hate” may be their best song yet, crafted in what they describe as in the "latest Hyper-Power Violence mode." On the flipside is the Czech Republic's punishing purveyors of powerviolence, SKIPLIFE, who have reignited the spirit of 1990s west coast powerviolence. Here SKIPLIFE dug in the crates and contribute a powerviolence cover of LOVE's "7 and 7 Is” feat. contributions by John Wiese (Sissy Spacek) and Adela (Xarkov7). Combined, this 5” is a testament to international "AMPLIFIED POWER VIOLENCE WORSHIP".
Reversible cover design, one side is an ode to LOVE with art by Jan Taitl, the other designed by Tommy Wilson in his trademark raw, PV style.
625#315/MMPV#003, limited to 100 on orange vinyl.
